DC rear speaker question

DC rear speaker question
probably a simple thing but i cant figure out how to get the speakers out..i pulled off the grill n then unscrewed all the screws on the speaker. and it just didnt wanna come out.
what wrong am i doing? do i have to remove the plastic panels?ifso how?
