take your tire off
have someone hold the brakes, take the axle nut off
remove steering ball joint
remove lower ball joint
pull the spindle out of LCA and away from axel, so that axel is out of spindle
pry axle out a tranny with a big *** screw driver
if you need to completely remove the axle you will also need to remove the long bolt at the bottom of the shock that goes through the LCA.
