subwoofer power wire

Default subwoofer power wire

okay so im tryin to put my subs in my 00' civic but i just ran into one problem which was where am i supposed to run the power wire from under the hood to the inside of my car....in my other car it was very easy but i just cant find an opening in my car right now...am i supposed to drill a hole or what...please help thanks

if you look on the fire wall (to the right of the battery and down) there is a rubber hose coming out. share that hole with the hose. its hard to get it in there but it will work.

If it's any easier for you, you can try to feed it backwards from inside the cabin. You'll see the grommet directly under your glovebox.

I just did this same install for my 96 Ex. I took the end of the power wire and taped it to a big flat head and pushed the flathead through the grommet. Went into the car and untaped the wire and pulled it all in.

yes very easy installation through firewall then jus pull carpet up and feed through to the back.....

where i put mine as well, that hose is coming from a spot under your dash, it drains the AC out, if you dont use AC just pull that damn hose and run it through.


if you do use ur ac, dont pull that hose, it will put a puddle in your floor
