clutch problem

ok just swap a b18a1 with y80 tranny and 1st 2nd 4th 5th is smooth but 3rd grind is it the pressure plate

I have to say no. Seems like those trannies are good for 3rd gear grinds, try sycromesh first, or if ur good pull the tranny and take a look at ur sycros or sleeves.
