im building a b16 turbo. its a little low buget project im building. so far i have srp 9:1 .20 over piston with crower i beam rods which i paid 400 for both new in a box. A 60-1 .70/.63 garrett turbo and i tial wastegate which i got kind of cheap i paid 500 for both used. and a spare b16 block to put it in. i want to know what do people recommed i get. for example should i get a block gaurd. what injector size should i get bearings, and etc. Im planning to do about high 300 low 400 whp and its a street daily driven ek.

low budget for 3k doesnt sound reasonable. plus i would get new turbochargers. very important.

 

i dont get it were did u get 3k and the turbo came form my boys car and it have no problems at all. and i all ready have an chip ecu intercooler piping. i just want to know what i need for internal work.

i pretty much have the same power goals as you, so i'll list what im using/going to use:

Block/Head- B16
Throttle Body- im sending it over to Maxbore.com to get 2mm over ITR.
Block guard/Sleeved- you can reach your power goals without 'em, but i'd still get it sleeved.
Fuel management- RC 440's, Hondata/Crome
Cams- im going with CTR's
Valvetrain- probably crower all around
Intake Manifold- ???

thats pretty much it. oh yea, and make sure its tuned.. well...

 

which clutch and flywheel would anyone recommend. which cams would be better the ctr or the gsr i have both sets i just want to know which would be better.

 

ive heard great things about skunk2 turbo cams. the clutch im going with is Exedy hyper single w/ flywheel.
