try to apply pressure and tighten and then back off by trying to loosen if nothing works. time to cut it off. maybe use some heat.

well i tryed to drill out the studd...but after $45 worth of drill bits...nothing . and the rims got damaged where the nuts go. man, i thing i might take it to a machine shop and have them drill it out.
lol, this problem SUCKS.. It happen on one of my CRX's.. I ended up just using a dremel with a good bit on it to just grind away on the lug nut. Thats the only way I could end up taking this thing out.. I even tried using an air chizzle to try to make the lug nut split in half, but that didn't work at all and I ended up messing up my wheel

the prob is that the holes in the rim are very small, they only take the tuner nuts...that why i'm having a hard time geting to it...

When it happened on my car, the mechanic used an air tool with a socket on the lug nut, and turned up the torque, to break the stud. Then the mechanic used a hammer to pound the broken stud from the front & out the back of the hub.
No damage to the wheel.
