yes...since someone bought the 90 TSi AWD i had built for daily driving...i was forced to find another daily driver so i can work on the colt more often.

the car has mustang injectors, aftermarket bov, bully clutch (aftermarket or so i'm told), and cold air conditioning. i was told by the guy who owned it that it made 250whp although i'm guessing its closer to 200whp. i plan on putting a fmic on it, (has a small stock fmic), nice wheels, lowering it, hybrid turbo (should make around 260whp at 14psi), and exhaust...

cause u can get the turbo for under 30 dollars at the local junkyard

 

you know what always gets me...

people are so quick to criticize the use of small turbos when a good friend of mine has gone 10's on a stock 14b (the current world record holder). do you know how many people on this board alone have criticized the use of a 14b on budget turbo setups?

his setup is proof that good tuning and a well balanced setup can yield great numbers on a stock/small turbo like a 14b.

since the price of the car was so cheap...i can justify spending about 1000 dollars on it to make it a little nicer. i'm looking for some 15 x 7 5 x 114 rota gt3's in gun metal, lowering springs and a hybrid turbo. then i'm going to put a downpipe, exhaust on the car and drive it for awhile. eventually the car will get a fmic and then i'll try to sell it for 2500 or so.

how many miles? just wondering cause there was some guy in phx selling one with 200k for $500. Are these mortors known to last for a long time?

this one has a swap, motor has about 135k on it. was owned by a mechanic who did most of the scheduled maintenance. these motors are NOT 4g63's and do not make the power that 4g63's make...in stock trim. however, they are slightly better built compared to naturally aspirated motor and i'd assume the motor is in good shape if its been properly maintained.

i haven't either...in fact some kid i sold a mitsu expo sent me pics of the blue mx6 that is supposedly in orlando.

with rims, lowered...etc...i think these cars look decent. the stock rims are just horrible...they make the car look too big and clunky.
