Where do u plan to road race a honda with a setup like that?

Or do u mean track days/lapping/hpde?

I'd stick with a manifold and use the $ to get out to driving events and learn.

cant beat throttle response with ITB's...not knocking tb/plenum set ups..so cool your jets
if the funds are plenty, go itb's...

I have a fake J's racing intake for sale that was designed for road racing. Throttle response is awesome, and it's made of ABS plastic to keep intake temps down.

I tried that on track. Fake J's, Carbon short ram, and iceman.

To be honest, I couldnt tell a damn bit of difference between the 3 - same response, same top speed down the front straight, etc.

I usually end up getting ITB's anyway, even for my daily drivers. The response is beond belief and the potential for midrange power is nice to have.

I think its all kind of a moot point since for real "road racing" (not street jackassery) there are very, very few places you can run a built engine with ITB's.
