Default Rattling noise from front right suspension

I just got both front axles replaced on my 90 CRX, but I'm getting a rattling sound from the front right suspension, usually when going over bumps and under medium to hard braking. I brought it back to the dealership where I got the axles replaced (aftermarket ones btw), and they said that the joint was a bit loose so they tightened it up but it STILL makes the same noise! Knowing that noise was still coming, the dealership told me that it may be because of loose brake parts ???? or b/c my shock/strut combo isn't sitting right????...this just doesn't sound right....please give me your input! thanks!

I have the same thing and it drives me nuts! Just yesterday I replaced the tie-rod ends and it helped a bit. There is a considerable amount of play (up and down) in my passenger side upper ball joint so I'm considering replacing that one now too. I bought lower ball joints but I couldn't get the stupid knuckle to stay verticle in the press so I couldn't get them out. While I had the suspension apart I redid the spacers between the shock and the sleaves that came with my ground control. My friend that helped me used the wrong size o-rings so the sleave was tilting back and forth when I'd brake and accelerate. So if you have ground control or similar, you might want to check that out.

either your ball joint or your strut isnt tightened down all the way and another possibility is that you have a bad strut

i had knockinig noise similar to that but it was my shock so i know it has something to do with your suspension in some way maybe the shock or the strut isnt sitting right like the shop said before but i would check and see if your shock is still good just check around the whole area and see if some thing is sitting dif or looks funny. if that helps

I had put in brand new shocks at all four corners only about 6+ months ago. Top of the line Bilstein HD's paired w/ H&R OE Sports. So the strut should NOT be bad, perhaps the install was bad huh?....what do you think?
