Test Pipe

So i have a cvc hb 97 and i heard if i put on a test pipe the engine check light will come on!!!!!

Yes, it will give a CEL if you have the factory OBD2 ECU.

That isn't necessarily true. I put a testpipe on my car and let the 2nd o2 hang down and i've only thrown 2 codes so far. They were both thrown on nights around 40 degrees also. HTH.
