JL audio slash series 300/4 Amp...... low ohms light on!

i checked all the speaker wires, disconnected from the amp side, and they all read around 4ohms.... they seem fine.... but the RR speaker turns off and on...im thinkin that the speaker is bad...ill replace it cuz i got another one layin around....hopefully that will solve the problem....
Did you try and hook up the other speakers to the amp and see if it worked, also if the speaker cuts out it may not be the speaker, it may be an intermittent short in the wiring
