hey what's up guys, i need some help. my friend has a 95' Del Sol VTEC and the tach on the cluster doesn't work. everthing else does though (speedo, gas meter, etc). he took out the cluster and checked all the connections behind it and everything was ok. he bought a new OEM cluster (that was previously workin' perfectly) and hooked it up and the tach still didn't work. he also took off the distributor cap and WD40'd all the wires as well with no luck. all the fuses under the dash have been replaced as well.

so my question is, what could the problem be?
