my car doesnt fit in a topic
" project triumph " is what i call this masterpeice in work, i have a 1981 honda civic. in germany the car was called the triumph, i have never seen this car untill i bought it of my friend a decided to drop a new engine and do so serious work all around the car. complete rebuild of the car. the current engine i have now needs the head done, as in the gaskit and you know what else, but thats besides the point.
what i want to do is drop a " k20a " in it and i need to know every part that i will need.
from what i can see i will need new axles, new motor mounts, new tranny, and im not sure but the k20 has a six speed so i think i might have a problem there too.
ill have pics once i get them and i will need as much help and info as i can get in doing this outragous swap.

I have seen an 89 Yugo GV with a D16A6 in it before, it was real quick too. That damn thing did 90 up a mountain (between Phoenix and Flagstaff) with 250lbs of cargo in the back. Good times were had in that YUGO! It did require a full cut job of the entire front end though. I would assume you could do the same to a gen 2 Civic, but why. Restore it, and pimp it in it's original glory. Go get a CRX (1st gen or 2nd gen) for the B or K series swap. It is cheaper, and they are much less rare.

i will post a pic when i get home of a widebody yugo with a 502 v8 engine in the back and a turbo 4 in the front...
if u dont already have a good idea how to install a k motor into ur car then u shouldnt really be doing this project....there is gonna be so much modification involved(if it can even be done) that everything going in there is gonna be custom....its a wild idea but its gonna take a lot more thinking to make it work
