Taking a Type-R's virginity at a local AutoX event: priceless.

I spent most of last season racing a GSR Integra in DSP last season, and the season before that my 20th AE VW GTI in STS. I'm still running the original factory Bridgestones (4 years old -- car only has 10k miles on it) so I'm thinking that might have something to do with my semi-disappointing times. The course was a 3/4 copy of the north course they used at Topeka for nationals (I think). Anyway, here are a few pictures, because I know that's all you guys want anyway :D. Hopefully I'll be able to get out to the WTDR event @ the Carolina Motorsports Park in November.

I thought that lot looked familiar. I used to autox out there all the time. Glad to see you're pleased with the car. I'm trying to remember a DSP GSR, but I don't think I made it out last year. Anyway here's what I would have looked like.

I think everyone was faster than the old guy in the ferrari.

btw, I now have brand new timinig belt, water pump, radidator, clutch master cylinder, clutch, and flywheel. Ready to trade cars yet

 

looks like alot of fun! Autox is way fun! I once rolled a old guys in a skyline at an autoX but I dont think he knew what he was doing
