Default vacuum gage reads 20 inches at idle, is this normal?

im running a d16y8, 16g, fmu, 310 cc injectors, fron mount and dsm blowoff valve. when i get into it the boost peaks at like 4 or 5 pounds of boost. it seems ok, but i ussually hear about turbos running at 8 pounds. the vacuum gage at idle is like 20 inches and when i step into it its like 0 than goes to boost and the boost peaks at like 4 or 5 pounds at like 7800 rpm. the car seems real quick and seems to be running good, just wondering if this is all normal, thanks honda-tech

Yeah, it's normal. 20-10 in vacuum is normal.

You're only getting 4lbs out of a 16G? TD04 16G, correct?

I have a TD04 16G on my Z6 and I get to about 7-8psi at around 6k rpm.

Not on mine. Mine is a DSM with an external wastegate. Something you may want to try is disconnecting the wastegate from the actuator. Just cap off the vacuum line you have feeding it and take it for a spin. See if it goes above 4psi.

The external wastegate for mine is all closed off funny, so if I opened it I wouldn't be able to put it back together correctly. In all honestly I just have mine disconnected from my turbo.
