Hey guys i just bought a set of ksports for my 1997 Integra GS-R. I need to get them installed and alligned and a shop quoted me 240 dollars. Is that reasonable? or could i get a better price else where. looking for people who paid to get it installed and how much you paid. thanks a lot.

 

You can get alignments for $70.

So $170 for installation isn't bad.

Although, installing suspension isn't that hard, if you are okay with a wrench. There are people on this forum who'd install it for probably $100.

 

holy ****, jump on that deal man. i work at an automotive repair and tire sales business and i ran your installation and and alignment price and i came up with about 275. sounds like a good price, whereever you got it.

 

hmm can i get any more input? i guess i might just do it. I would do my own install but i dont have the tools nor the knowledge to do it myself. so 240 good price for install and allign?

 

Im sure theres someone in your area that would do it for you and you could watch/help and maybe learn something and all for probably a case of beer and some pizza or something.

 

Yea theres no better way to learn then doing the work yourself. I did my suspension with some friends. The bolts in the rear lca froze though. That's one thing you gotta be careful a bit, it'll turn a simple job into a long one. Fortunatly my friends father has his own shop that we drove the car to and finished the job the following day with his help.

 

There's a shop that'll charge $100 to install suspension and I can get an alignment for around $70, so if there are a lot of shops in your area, I'd shop around a little.

 

do the work yourself and have a shop do the alignment!
