Default Looking for a average price.

A friend of mine wants me to do some suspension work for a friend of hers who i have never meet. Now seeing as i dont know this person im going to charge them a little for me driving out there and doing the work. Seeing as i have no idea how much labor cost for things (seeing as i do all my own work) i have 2 questions.

How much would it cost to install a coilover set?

How much would it cost to install a strut/spring combo?

Im asking for shop prices. Thanks.

Why don't you call the shops around that area and ask them how much they charge. That way, the dude can't say, "Uh, i called (such and such) and they only charge (such and such)."

If you wanna be sneaky about it, call the place that charges the most, and offer to do it at their price minus a few bucks.

its about 4-5 hours of work at most shops, so figure 5*75 = 375. Well here in CT.

Btw thats to swap full shocks/struts

I'd say do it for 100 bucks plus beer. Its not a hard job.

That would be my quote too

If it was a close friend probably just a case of beer but since it's a friend of a friend I would have no problem charging
