Good price for clutch install?
I'm looking to install an action clutch 2md on my GSR, so far the prices i've been quoted are around $250. Is that a resonable price for the work? If not how much and are there good places around CT, NY and mabye NJ? thanks
250 is fine maybe you could haggle them to 200.
BTW has anyone done it them selves? I'm willing to try but i dont think i have to proper tools.
I've done a few clutches in hondas. What do you want to know?

Yeah, a jack, jackstands, good socket set, breaker bar, and time.
Really not that difficult, using a Helms or the C-Speed site will explain what you need to do.

It shouldn't be hard to do, but I suggest you inlist the help of someone that has done one before. It's not a job you want to tackle alone especially if you've never done it before.
i guess just some basic info like how much time and what tools are needed. Or if i should even try it since it took me all day to do a suspension installation by my self

i think 250 is cheap to switch out the clucth. It usually around 500 for a cluctch change, 259 to take out tranny and another 250 to put clucth in.
If you want I could show you how to do it (for a small fee) you do the work and I'll guide you thru the complete process- Just make sure you have all the tools ready to go.
