Hi, ive just come over from the Prelude side of the website and have an urgent question about a 1996 civic coupe.

aside from the bolts on the door how do you actually seperate the door from the car as im stuck on the wiring harness.

so my question is how do I seperate the door from the harness and how long does it take.

the harness unplugs from the door.

 

so its just a case of pull back the rubber cover then twist and pull the plastic bracket??

 

don't twist... pull back the rubber protector... there's little clips to push to unlock it from the other pug, just like every other plug on a honda... analyze it, and pull it off... i had mine off to swap power everything into my hatch. it's not hard.
