ej1 (coupe) door removal

Default ej1 (coupe) door removal

i have a 93 ex coupe and im going to the junkyard tommorrow to get a passenger door...i picked it out today but didnt have tools on me at the time...what size sockets will i need to remove the door? and ill just cut the wireing harness right off the junkyard dooR....anything else i should be concerned about? thanks.

i think a 12mm its not that hard at all as long as you got some help holding the door. dont foget about the thing that keeps the door from swinging open too far just tap the pin out for that.

I think that you will need either 12 or 14 mm sockets to get the doors off. And there is no pin to keep the door to keep from opening too far. It is just another bolt.

BTW, you shouldn't have to cut the wiring harness, just unplug it where it connect from the door to the chassis.
