well i just got my cherry picker and i am waiting for motor mounts to be ordered(ordering tonight) and while i have my motor out i was wondering which tranny to use, should i use my stock b18a tranny or should i get a b16 tranny?

 

Use the YS1, S1, J1, or my favorite, the Y1 with optional LSD.

What for? It has no LSD and is geared longer. It also is a hydraulic transmission, so unless if he got the hydraulic conversion mounts, he would have to get different mounts.

B16 transmission all the way.

 

92 93 gsr tranny im pretty sure is cable. still b16 though. with a gsr or ls 5th gear

Damn thats right. I was completely thinking of 94+

I still say LSD B16 transmission.

If the LS tranny you go tis a YS1, just rebuild it to JDM YS1 specs using CTR parts.

 

Go with the b16 tranny till ya boost...then swap in the LS tranny....
