Default JDM B16A Idling at 2400 RPM?!?! How do I lower Idle speed???

I just bought a 1992 Integra GSR. The previous owner swapped in an SiR II B16A motor, and everything seems great the only thing that seems to be wrong with it is the super high idle(around 2400 rpm). When I switch the air conditioning onto MAX it drops to about 1500 rpm. WHat do I need to do to get it to idle right???

ur not gonnna mess anything up adjusting the idle. If that dont work u might have a leak somewhere or maybe a bad valve.

Shut the FITV.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=699787

Check for vacuum leaks.

Try resetting the idle.

Check throttle cable tension.

electronic air control valve, or iacv (intake air control valve. its on the back of the intake mani. just pull it off and spay inside it with carb cleaner/starter fluid let it dry and put it back in. Even if it dont work it wont hurt.

Yes, I believe you'll have one on but it will be mounted in your throttle body. I could be wrong.

Sometimes mine idles at 1100 when I start it. Then when I drive it around for a couple minutes, it idles around 2000.

lol i fixed it...

it was just the throttle cable.

at first i thought the tb might just be sticking but it was just the cable needed to be adjusted.
