Default Weird - 1 yr long problem - no conclusion - P13, p14? WTF

Ok.........

I've been running my car on a p14 ecu for a while.......
why?
Because the car runs horribly!(not driveable) on the p13 ecu.....
WTF!

hmm.......
I know the p14 is tuned for i think 240cc? injectors.........i have 345cc injectors on my car.........

the only way i can get the car to be driveable is to up the fuel with my VAFCII - I'm talking like 10%+........just to make it driveable.........on p13

The p14 - I don't have to do ****........it drives very well.......a little rich though

Is the timing a huge difference on the h22 and h23 motors?.......
need to get this fixed ASAP! If i can't fix it soon, I'm just going to get an s300 and tune it to drive well...........

So far, I only have UD Pulley, I/H/E........

I wonder if something went wrong during the swap.....hmm..........

Forgot to mention that I plugged it up to a P28 ecu - and it did the same thing........Those don't have 345cc injectors do they? - pretty sure they don't.

Well - i plugged in a p28(?) - some civic ecu w/vtec and it did the same thing.........

I'm going to change my O2 sensor here pretty soon - what is a good O2 sensor? I heard not to use Bosch - for some reason - thats too bad actually because here at school, we get discounts on parts(NAPA).....and the only o2 sensors Napa sells are bosch.........that sucks.......

bosch user here, works fine now for a year, the price difference is a big difference, you can get good prices at oxygensensors.com

Oh really? So the h23 has the same fuel injectors eh.....hm........so what the hell could be the problem.

Is one ECU more dependent on the closed/open loop operations than the other?

WTF? Man i'm reporting this post....don't come in here talking crap - this is your first post..........

I'm pretty sure my car has the 345cc injectors - I'll try to check my fuel pressure later on in the day.......

what is the p14 tuned for then?

The car runs like total **** - unless i sit there and keep trying to rev it.......then after a long while, it becoms driveable......but stalls and has no power.......

are you sure you have the injectors from a h22a?, you say they are the 345's - but is it possible whoever did the swap - swapped them out for the h23's? visibily there is very little/no difference between the h23's injectors and h22a's - and they would surely cause your bogging issues. or i don't believe you mentioned what engine you actuall swapped in was it a jdm h22a? or is it a h22a4? because i believe there would be a difference between saturated and peak and hold injectors.

if you aren't sure, and don't want to buy more, you could always get them flow checked somewhere.
