means a "req'd service" is coming up. it'll stay on when she hits a certain mileage.

So... what's your question?

Do you want to know why, or how to get rid of it? Well... has she taken it in for service at all since owning it. 6000 miles is past the point of an oil change... so she should get that done. Or, if it was already done (or you do it), just go back to the dealership and get them to reset the light if they forgot. No biggie.

yea i did the oil change, both times (@ 3k mi), so i wanna know how to reset the light, cuz when i drive it, it bugs the **** outta me when i turn it on

 

at 7500 its gonna stay on until you reset it.

 

In my old s2k and the my rsx now... I think you put your finger on uh... damn one of those buttons on the dash.. haha hold it down turn the key on and keep holding till the light goes off...

Hold your odometer button and keep it held then then the key on and hold it till the light goies off i have did it before.
