Default need help again (chassis harness)

well i got a new si chassis harness for my 91 dx hatch, and it is cut in a couple places....i currently have a chiltons manual and i am having trouble understanding the wiring diagrams in there(which repair manual has the best diagrams?)...here are the pics....hopefully u guys can tell me where/what these cut wires are for...
this is on the dash harness...just trying to figure out what the white wire coming out of the blue thing is for:

im assuming this is for the stereo:

this is one of the ecu plugs....i need to repair the brown wire as well as repin that yellow one...ive heard that there are special tools for depinning plugs...what are they and where can i find them?

these are the other ecu plugs...butchered i know...there is a wire or two routed from one of the plug bunches to the other bunch...ill take a more detailed pic of this later....just wanna know what tool i need to depin the plug so i can repair the damaged wires..

where do these go?

these are for the headlights...any idea where these go? i can get better pics if necessary..

other side

how do i go about cleaning this crap off...

i would also like to know if any of the pics above showed the cut wires for the fan...the guy i bought it from said they were previously wired to a switch but now they are cut and i cant find em...
i know this isnt the classifieds but if anybody around the pasadena/ SGV area is pretty good with wiring or just the ef chassis in general would like to come by my shop and help me id greatly appreciate it....ive had this car sitting here forever and im dying to get her started up ...thanks guys

Looks like a PITA!! Check the '92-00 Civic / Del Sol FAQ's for depinning info.

and these Black wires are grounds...

i don't know this to be fact (it's been a while since i have messed with the chassis harness) but i don't think an si harness plugs in 100% correctly to the dx stuff. by that i mean i think there is one connector on the driver's side that goes to the upper left hand corner of the dash that is a different connector from the si to dx. again i'm not completely sure on this but you might wanna check it out. sorry i didn't help you with what you asked but just trying to help you where i can. i think you can repin it to the dx connector but from what i remember this one connector isn't the same. also i couldn't tell you exactly which connector it is but i know you have to reach from under the dash next to the a/c duct and it was a pain in the *** to get to.

Oh yeah also, for the headlight's...Im assuming u already have the headlight wires or half of them. If u do, you can go ahead and do a headlight wire tuck.

Just take of fender, and have another person inside name a wire, say red with silver dots. Feed him some wire thru w/e hole u find, usually theres a lil black plug. Have him splice that wire, then pull the slack, run it along the fender well and splice that same color wire . If u want some more detailed info on wire tuck ****, pm me.

Yes there is differences between the DX and Si Harnesses...inside the car as well as outside. Been a few years since I did the B16 swap so can't remember specifics either.

well i will be using an si chassis, engine and underdash harness...so its not like im trying to make an si chassis harness work with a dx engine harness...pretty much the front half of the car will be si wiring while everything from the doors back is gonna be dx wiring..i have another dx chassis harness that needs slightly more work than this one...so i am kinda torn between which one to use...ive been calling local junkyards and the lowest price i have been quoted so far is 150 for a fresh dx harness so id really like to get one of the ones i already got to work

man thats a mess, free bump for you for trying...

i have fixed stuff like this MANY times for people's cars, but the only way you would get that going is having someone close by help you out with all that, or having some one with an SI go to you so u can see all the wiring thats on the SI...

i dont think u will get far on here, because thats a pretty big technical project...

Thats my opinion, it looks like that one would be one hell of a headache trying to get right. Find a junkyard and waste your frustration there, at least its not your **** you'll be breaking.

however if your intent on getting this one up and going all I can offer is to get/look in the helms manual. the problem there is on their diagrams they dont list wire color, you have to go to the actual application. Like ECU plugs a1a3a5a7 are for your injectors, the wiring diagram wont tell you what color each is. You have to go to the fuel injection section to find out....real pain in the ***.

And oh yeah, good ******* luck man.

Thats not crap, its honda's grease.

That "crap" will help plugs survive from corrosion. :D Even the new hondas have that.

i was told that the si was plug and play too, so i went out and bought one... now the si resistor box will not plug into the dx plug, so now i have to solder all this **** to make the integra plug work. my harness is also missing one of the dizzy plugs, dont know why but it is, and i have no clue what to do...

so good luck with the wiring, its a total bitch man, im so mad with my motor right now, i dont even want to look at it. but i got to get her done, btw its on a b18a1 motor, what motor are you using??

i know im not suppossed to just clean off the grease and leave it like that...im just wondering if there is a technique to removing it without damaging the pins/plugs...im going to be reapplying the grease when the harness goes back in...

i was just corrected. it's only different from the crx to hatchback. if you use the hatchback harness it will work.
