theres a lot of threads about flushing your tranny fluid and using some syncromesh to smoothen out grinds. go hit up a search on that and you will find tons of info.

if its popping out... its your syncros... try this... ok... when ur driving.. dont get on it.. drive normal when in first accelerate push the clutch in take it out of gear into neutral.. then let the clutch out.. then push it back in and go into second and accelerate. now if it pops out when ur on the gas then its time to replace.. if it only pops out when letting off the gas you can just replace the syncros

you sure it is the synchros??????

Synchros do NOT cause transmissions to pop out of gear.

Assuming this is a D series tranny, your countershaft main bearing has backed out of the case. Contiuned use or attempt of use of second gear will damage the 1-2 shifter fork.........

backed out..........

tapped back in.........

staked into place with a punch..........

to people always blaming the synchros.......
