I was wondering what the most noticeable improvement suspension part is for a 2000 civic coupe. Yes I searched and didn't find anything.

 

what are you looking to improve?

handling, ride quality, stoping power, etc?

tons of different opinions on all these as well..

 

Tires.

 

cheap suspension i would recommend omni. If you have money go with tein

 

I have rims/tires/front strut tower brace on the way. I already have tokico struts and coilovers. I want to improve handling feel.

Just make sure your tires are fairly good. Your suspension mods won't be any good if your tires can't keep up with them. I learned the hard way and bought coilovers, shocks, swaybars before I ever thought about tires and still was running stock Michelins. Finally bought some new Toyo T1-R's and hot damn my car feels planted to the ground.

I know tires can make a world of differance. I'm a noob here not to cars. Just was wondering if there was a sus. mod that really made a big differance. Like the swaybars for an Srt-4.

 

rear sway bar.. comptech or asr will make a huge difference and keep your subframe attached to your car

 

Harder bushings and a bigger rear sway bar helped mine a lot.

 

koni's with after market springs.. what i got on a 00 coupe im in love with it

just get some new wheels, that are wider of course, some good rubber, a set of full omni coilovers, and a rear sway bar, i have a 96 cx hatch and its light as ****, and this thing stays planted on the ground, now im saving for passwords bars, but my motor is still stock except for ghetto intake, SUSPENSION.......THEN MOTOR in my opinion, good luck

Adjustable damping is your friend, plus I trust Koni over Omni

 

read up on omnis the coils have been bad not good quality koni w/ tein springs will be your best friend they are myne ha but dont go with cheap coilovers if you go with them spend the big bucks... if oyu low ball now youll do it forever

it was all installer error.
if people wouldnt have put there **** in upside down or overtorqued **** omni would still be as amazing as everyone thought they were when they first hit the scene.

omni isnt a bad setup.
tein is quality and its also a name...
omni is quality but got a bad rep because of morons.
