93 civic si power problem

yea, i have a 93 civic si w/ an ITR complete swap..
when i try to turn the car on sumtimes it ahs power and the cd player will work ect. and then when i go to turn it over. it doesnt start,you hear a click and then my cd player flickers on and off and my car loses power. but when i take the key out and do it all over again i will get that lil bit of power.. in the cd palyer... but the headlights wont turn on no lights willl turn on but the cd player will work..
and sumtiems while im driving when i come to a stop my car will drop idle to about 300rpm usually @ around 900, and the car will almost shut off so i give it gas and it will be fine for the next 30 min...
but if i get sum1 to jump my car it will start an i get full power.
i ckeckd all teh fuses under the drives side dash.
i dont kno wutto do next

HELP ME
Check to make sure you have clean connection at the battery posts. A dirty post will not allow your battery to charge/discharge properly and will cause the exact problems you describe.
A two dollar battery terminal brush will fix this pretty quick.
If it were an alternator only, and assuming you have full charge on your battery, you would be able to start your car easily every time.
Remember that the battery supplies you power until the alternator takes over the supply. (That's about as layman as I can put it) Thus, the alternator has nothing to do with cranking the car or running any accessories until the engine is started, so your problem (As you are describing) has to do with the battery circuit. Most common cause: corroded battery terminals. Second most common cause: Bad battery. If #1 does not fix the problem, have the battery tested. But avoid running the car on alternator alone as this puts extreme demands on the diodes in the alternator.
