Default Oil starvation during autox

Just a PSA of sorts for you EP owners... earlier this year I was at an autocross event where I spun REALLY hard and the engine went into limp mode. All the oil must've sloshed over to one side and the engine lost oil pressure and decided to go limp. Turns out I was sort of low on oil. Same thing happened again yesterday to a buddy of mine after he spun hard. Turns out that he just had his oil changed last week so he should've been full.

Moral of the story: Always check your oil level before you go racing. And if this ever happens to you and you know you have enough oil, just reset the ECU and make sure that you DO have enough oil.

Yea, you must have been low. That has happened to me b4 then I check the oil and sure enough its low. Baffles could help that out but you could just check your oil b4 taking it to the track.

if you spin and don't put the clutch in fast enough, you can cause the engine to turn in reverse if you're rolling backwards. It will put the engine into limp mode as well.
