vtec and v-afc problems please help!!
When i set my vafc at anywere below 5600 it dont work good the vafc screen says vto is on but it dont kick? no power it seems like loss of power. please help.
Check the VTEC solenoid filter to see if there is some cloggage there and check your oil level. VTEC won't engage without adequate manifold pressure and/or oil pressure.
Heres some quick info, if you have this on the Accord EX engine (f22b1) you won't feel anything ever, plus the v-afc isn't supposed to be supported for that engine. Anyways vtec on the SOHC motor should only engage around 2-3k rpms, which is optimal and for saving gas and *cough* power. Now if you did an h22 swap that's a different story.
its on an h22 i have enough fuel .. what is the correction thing with the high and low cam for the v-afc.? adjusting this would help? or not there both set at o% hi and lo 0%
