Default Identify clutch?

sup,
i just bought a act xtreme/ street strip disc that came off of his car, it didnt slip or anything. i expected it to be yellow since its act...although its silver, my buddy said its sliver because they send it to the manufacture to balance it or something. Im kool with it, now people tell me its a exedy......

can anyone please confirm this is a ACT or exedy that way i can stop thinking about it. this kid that saw it that doesnt have much knowledge of cars said it was a stock clutch lol.thanks

dude, I am POSITIVE that clutch is a stock OEM unit. It should say daikin on the pressure plate and disc inside of a diamond shaped box stamped on the metal. I put these things in Integra's all of the time.

I would not mislead you man, I do nothing but help people on here.

the groves should be about 1mm deep. If the groves are less than 1mm and ar about .5mm then you have about 10k worth of clutch left on a low horsepower vehicle.

exedy is actually a Daikin company but I promise you that this is not an aftermarket unit. It has brass rivets and thinner connecting tabs (what the rivets go thru) than the aftermarket units.

to me the most contributing factor to me calling it an OEM clutch is due to the brass alloy rivets it has. I don't think I have ever seen an aftermarket clutch use anything other than steel rivets or press pins

thanks for the good pointers..... i bought the itr flywheel from the same buddy, can you prove thats its a itr flywheel pics are in this link

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1383603

like i was saying, he bought the car with that clutch and flywheel therefore im sure its a mistake, and must have been a misunderstanding, but if it is not too much trouble can you check the ITR flywheel for me? Thanks

sorry mmuller, you are wrong this time. I am very sorry to hear that you got screwed over like this JDM00SI but the flywheel is also just a regular old stock flywheel like the clutch. I think he just sold you a stock *** LS or GSR clutch and flywheel.

look at the pics to see the differences (remember, they are thumbnails)

your flywheel

ITR flywheel

see the difference?

damn, its my buddy that sold it to me, im sure he didn't know due to the fact he bought the car with those parts on it.

What i don't understand is how they ran on his 400hp+ car.....

Does anyone else have evidence to support this? i just want to be sure there isnt false info going on.
