Default Teardown of SI, Major Project, turbo, full rebuild, 49 images! 56K Beware.

Sup,
So i buy my SI 6 months ago, goal was to use it as a daily and do couple bolt on modifications.... so i had my intake, header, exhaust, cam gears deall....SLOW!

So- Rota C8s are slapped on, stainless steel brake lines, cross drilled slotted rotors.

Here it is with all full suspension mods, wheels, etc....

So i start my funds for turbo, 1-2 months later, im ready..... why not build the motor before turbo? hmm.... b16- weak sauce. so i plan to build it. i start to tear it down with some buddies...
we dropped the motor, tranny, pretty much whole front clip of car.

Well it is cheaper to buy it already built, instead of building it. so i sell the b16!
i run across a Fully Built JG Engine Dynamics Pro series Gen 2 GSR Head, ported polished, 3 angle valve job, new retainers, valves, springs, JG Cam gears.
I know damn well it will be cheaper to buy one already built, rather than sending my stuff off to the machine shop, so i purchase it!

Im a happy camper now! So i run across a precision GT35e/.63 turbo along with a inline pro manifold. they are both used, the turbo has been rebuilt and never used since then.

and for the inline pro manifold already tapped for egt-

Next come the beastly 880cc injectors....

Cant forget Hasport motor mounts

Walbro Turbo Fuel pump

For the Electronics, i will be running Hondata s200 with boost, on a chipped p28 ecu with a obd 1 conversion of course.

I buy a Full Race traction bar.

PWR Radiator

Precision Medium IC

Cant Forget the 3bar map sensor.

MSD Ignition Kit, a little ugly, but functions, got it for dirt cheap.

Boost and EGT Gauge on my new Gauge pod

Tail 38mm Wastegate

Tail BOV

Act Extreme

ACT Extreme Pressure plate/disc

ITR Flywheel, Woo Hoo

Skunk2 Intake Manifold

STR Fuel Rail w/ Stainless Steel Fuel Line

Check out my room guys, with all the stuff in it

Starter, Alternator, Distributor, all stuff i need for new set up.

Misc Stuff

b16 block, sold

I'm still shopping for Gator 2 Axles, Quafe,a fully built LS or GSR block , sleeved, bored, low compression, and a fuel pressure regulator. My IC piping and down pipe will be custom made by the shop i will do the work at, (Velocity Performance).

Project in progress......
