Would putting a damper kit ruin my handling?
So i was thinking lately of buying http://www.passwordjdm.com/pro...D=277 anything think this would ruin or make my handling better. also i was planning on dropping it to 2.5 inches.
and the kit is only $949.00 shipped. i think thats a good deal, anyone agree? i dont know much about suspension but is omni a good name brand? i wanted a tein suspension kit but those are so expensive. and this is going on a 2001 Integra Type R. thats why i posted it in here and not the suspension forums.

I have no experience with these, but the search function is your best option as this topic has been discussed over and over again. Here are the results I got from a quick search for "omni". Hope this helps.

I'd think the exhaust would pretty much be scraping at that point!
p.s. hOW'S THAT FRONT END GOING?

What makes you think you need that? How long have you been on track and do you hit the courses enough to warrant it?
And as someone said, your car's exhaust will probably drag along with some other stuff. 2.5 is a lot for a daily driver. Seems like your in this for the looks before action

Seriously search, there's a number of reviews both here and in the Suspension forum.
I have the 12K/10K ITR Sports, lowered maybe 1-2 inches (I don't remember). No camber correction, just basic alignment. I figure I can generally use the negative camber.
It handles well enough for HPDE purposes.

My thoughts exactly. Also you get what you pay for, so be carefull on suspension for the R.

I have the Omni's sport version. Make sure when you order them that the fronts have the new collars on them since the old ones are failing and breaking. I recently did the new collar install.
Personally...I've gone through four different sets of coilovers and the omni's, I feel, by far are the best bang for the buck. Though after some adjustments, I've settled on swapping the rear springs to the front (JDM style Y0!) so its 10K 12K and the car seems to handle much better. The dampening also seems to fuction much better then having that 12K spring bounce you around a bit.
A good purchase that you would be happy with IMO.
Make sure you properly adjust the preload.

They are a compromise.... here's the definitive thread on them, 9 pages.
