Car: 97 Ex
Anyone know how to remove the parking brake lever from the rear brake shoe? I got new brakes from the dealer but they didnt come with the lever attached to the shoe. I tried taking the old one out from the old shoe but it wont come out. I was able to get the clip and washer out but the pin wont come out. Is it supposed to come out or do I have to buy a new one? Thanks for the help.

I dont understand what youre trying to do? What lever are you talking about, is in inside the drums??

 

i hate drums. the pin is suppose come out after you remove the u-clip.
