Default superchargers...

does supercharging an engine help save gas or burn more gas? anyone know why??

ill say burn more. a turbocharger runs off exhaust gases so it is more efficient than a super.

If its tuned you wont notice any change in gas. You might loose 1 or 2 mpg. Depends on the motor and fuel system. Same with Turbo.
