no more code 9, but car is hard to start & doesnt hold idle
not sure if you people read my other post (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1375030) but to some it up i have 91 HF w/ a b18 swap and converted to obd1 w/ a rywire conversion harness. i got rid of my pesky code 9 but now my car starts 1 out of 6 times and when it does, it runs like *** and will not hold idle. and NO CEL's now i tried running an OBD0 distributor and an OBD0 automatic LS ecu. and boom as soon as you crank it, it fires right up and holds idle fine. so ive isolated the problem to 3 areas. 1. my wiring of the OBD1 dist w/ the OBD0 plug 2. my rywire conversion harness 3. my chipped OBD1 p28 ecu
1. i triple checked my dist plug wiring and everything checks out fine. and if anything was wired wrong with the dist it would through a CEL right away if i had the wires crossed (like my problem before). so i think thats out of the question
2. i am currently waiting for rywire to return my PM about a diagram of theyre conversion harness so i can check a couple wires and plus itd be something ill def need in the future.
3. ill try swapping another obd1 ecu and see if that changes anything
well until i hear from rywire anyone have any opinions on what areas i could or should check out. i am totally baffled right now
