Baseline for my GSR today.
i got a baseline run in today at a honda dyno day. thought i'd share my results w/you guys.
1995 Integra GSR (88,000 miles)
Apexi World Sport Exhaust
AEM SRI
DC 4-1 Header
everything else is stock.
my car getting ready

my car running on the dyno

anyways, here's my dyno sheet.

i know its not the full graph, i'm gonna see if i can get one from mike (guy running dyno)

that makes no sense, what so ever
you can't compare everything to a dynojet, every dyno reads differently. they're not a toy to pop out numbers, they're a tool used to make your car run better

yea. i plan on making all of my pulls and doing all of my tuning with mike (guy pictured running my car) on this same dyno... so idk how the make of the dyno would matter.

To check baseline numbers and compare numbers the dynojet is the industry standard. Dynojets also tend to read closer than others because of less user parameter input.
Basically all i was saying is that usually if u put a stock gsr on a dynojet its gonna put down close to the same numbers anywhere else thats similar conditions. (provided dyno is also in similar condition)
Whereas a mustang dyno can head "high", "low" you get the point.
You are right though if all the tuning will be done on this dyno then its perfect for a baseline. All i meant was that you can't even begin to compare it with others! (which is what i thought he wanted!)

It wont, mustang dyno is actually more capable than an dynojet. I just was letting you know that you can not compare these with others you see on h-t. (you prolly already know) But thats the impression i got.

yea i understand all that. and i just thought i'd post this up for people to see, because you never see a lot of baseline numbers posted up, and it's kinda nice to see what you actually put down, as opposed to what honda tells you. and i know its not very useful information for other people being as it was on a mustang dyno, but the numbers seem pretty "right" to me.

Honda really doesnt tell you what to expect. I mean after you calculate drivetrain loss and everything you can come up with a good guess, but honda doesnt give a whp number ever.
On a side note, yes the numbers to seem "right" all facts considered. Start building the damn thing!

agreed. Dyno dynamics are a really nice dyno too plus with a dynamics you can add the "x" factor so you can compare it to a dyno jet numbers.

Good numbers man, how did you like that dyno. I'm not trying to hijack your thread but I'm gonna post my dyno sheet because it was taken on a mustang 1100se to compare. Not to compare cars just how the dyno's are set up. Sucks not having any torque out of dem gsr's! Was yours on a 1100se also?

because we did the base run, and then set the window to stop where the power stopped climbing on that run.

yea, it's not bad at all, it pulls strong. i was pleased, but i was hoping to maybe see low 160's and almost 120 trq... oh well. looks like i'll just have to spend more money.

damn a 95 gsr with 88,000 miles on the original motor that's damn good man. I'd at least get a vafc2 depending on what your future plans are. Vafc is easily good enough for those mods and it will up your power over 160 easy! What was the temp the day you dynoed?
yea trash that header and get a new one (rmf preferably) and ul def be in 165+ and make a **** load better torque. i have a gsr in my 97 hatch aebs IM, rmf compact header, TP, apex N1 exhaust, and hondata and made 163 and 123 torque on a dynojet. but yea very good numbers for your setup.
