Default a/f ratio gauge

my car is tunned with a afc to run rich

at idle, the gauge is always at the richest, but when i drive the gauge bounces around from lean to rich alot. But when idle always goes back to richest or somewhere near it. Is this normal?

Sounds like you're running way rich at idle...it should cycle down just like it does when you're cruising.

Hmm, there is your problem right there...get a real one, they are pricey. Greddy is decent, but not exact. Motec is something like 1600!

The gauge will always move around until you give it full throttle. You'll get a more consistent, slower changing readout at full throttle. Your's is normal. I asked the same question when I got mine installed.

DC Header....

Not sure what your problems is...you should be able to lean down your idle on the AFC. Does your exhaust smell like it's running rich?

Build your own "real" wideband 02...
