ok this is my first import car and i have a few friends with the same car but one thing puzzles me.... they have 5 speed in thier 91 Civic and i have a 4 speed.... all of our cars are stock but im thinkin that the shift **** on my car is wrong? i dunno what the deal is but im tired of tryin to locate or search for data and coming up short..... any help would be nice.....thanks to anyone who helps......

 

have you tried shifting gears??? if there are only 4 gears then the shift **** is correct. if there are 5 then the shift **** is wrong. please don't tell me you have to do research on your computer to figure this out.

 

my 90 hatch only has 4 gears. from the data that i have gathered the modle is STD basicly its the cheap USDM version.....

 

ok then that helps some more because 87-91 the civic's are virtually the same except for some parts here and there.
