Whats with my timing belt???
Well my crank pulley bolt snapped in half a few weeks ago so I replaced the bolt, pulley and accessory belts. Well today I was cleaning my engine bay and noticed that the belt was sitting about 1/8 off the gears. I was actually able to push it back onto the gear by hand (with a little force). It doesnt really look like its digging into the cover though (if it is, its a little). Do you guys think it could be my tensioner??? I didnt have this problem prior to my crank pulley incident. If it is the tensioner, can I replace it without removing the crank pulley or the D/S engine mount???
Yeah you can do it without removing the mount its actually pretty easy if you don't have P/S & A/C stuff in your way, all you need to change is the tensioner spring unless the tensioner its self is jammed or something..
