97 lude w/ 150k mi- i get a low grind i can feel in the accelerator pedal, and hear whenever i come out of a stop in 1st and after sometimes 2nd gear- but only when i get a LITTLE aggressive with it... like 3/4 throttle+... i dont know why its doing this... im thinking something wrong with either rear engine mount, a tranny mount of some sort, or a cv.... thanks for any help with this... its pissin me off-

i also realized there was an aluminum piece broken off of the block... it sticks out quite a bit in pictures ive seen... its on the block or tranny on the back side and its about 10inches long with a bolt lookin thing at the end of it... i cant describe any better than that... thought it was a mount of some sort possibly? idk what it is- possibly a cause for the grinding- theres just half a bolt hole that was split in half (looks like a sectioned view of threads) at the base of it... thank you for any help at all...
