I was wondering if the stock sockets and wiring will fit the jam one piece headlights because i can buy them bare for 185 but if you buy it with the sockets and wiring and bulbs you pay 289. please help thank you

 

no they won't fit jdm uses H4 low beam and H1 for the Highs but the corner fog lamp is the same.. you can get the sockets anywhere for no more than 15 bucks or less for both sides high and low. get the one piece for 185 and buy your own sockets

I would just buy the harness seperately, that's what i did, the h4 harness was like $22 for both. like $10 for one but w/tax around $22. They should sell them at your local autozone, or pepboys, i know i got the last two they had at pepboys . Are the headlights the black or chrome ones? I got mine for $125 for both left and right, but no wiring or light bulbswhich really sucked. By the way the kit should say 9003/h4 series harness or something like that.

 

if you buy everything that's needed harness and bulbs. everything should run around 40 bucks at retail price. but try to get it cheaper else where. like junk yard for harness and aftermarket luminics bulbs for 16 bucks

 

Yeah but the thing is that at that time i didn't know and still don't know what cars come from factory w/h4, or 9003 series. A little too late now for me to know that. But does anyone know what car comes w/h4 stock?

 

do what i did, i went out and bought some cheap h4 bulbs, and the bulb was soldered on the outside in like 3 places, i cut/broke those solder points and resoldered my hid kit and it fit right inside that, it works fine for me....

does anyone know the proper name for what to buy? i asked in autozone and the guy said that they dont make those..

 

Well for some reason the people who work in autozone sometimes give you wron information. Go to pepboys and ask them you need a headlight wiring harness (kit) for a h4. Lucky for you i still have the box the part number is 46-9993 And here is the pic of the box.

 

CIVICS come in H4 bulbs stock. just go to an autozone, pepboys, etc. and ask for that . simple as that
