Question about TYC Projector Headlights
I am thinking of getting those headlights just beacuse I watn to go with a HID kit and those are good quality projector headlights. The question I have tho is how do you run 2 bulbs on a civic. It looks as if there is a high/low beam and the civics run the H4 which controls high/low. Also, Ive got a 00 civic and my buddy has a 96. Will my headlights fit his car???

Re: (ekcivic9)
When you get a wiring harness for the HID's you can buy one that has a diode in between so you can still use your highbeams.
Yes you have to buy a wiring harness becaus the HID's when they fire up use too much power and will eventually fry your stock wiring.
I didn't get this kind and I just never use my highbeams. The HID's are soo bright.
I retroed Euro Golve IV HID's into mine but its a 92-95 civic.
Your headlights WILL NOT FIT your buddy's car.

those tyc's come with a crapload of wiring that makes them work and plug in to the stock wiring harness, it's really shitty wiring and even connects to the battery and has relays, my brights never worked, i removed my tyc's last week for jdm headlights
