Default Random TPS Code

I have a 92 hatch with a JDM B16 in it. I was having no problems with check engine lights until last week. I got cams and cam gears installed, and now every 50 miles or so, I get a TPS Check Engine Code (pretty sure they are not related, but those are the new things I have). I check all of the wiring for the TPS, clear the code from the ECU, and it doesnt come back for another 50 or 60 miles. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be?? I have had it looked at by several different people, and I don't get much of an answer. Thanks

Have you tried testing the TPS? Obviously you are getting a hard code, so obviously there is a problem with it. It's not rocket science.

Yes, that's what is so wierd, a buddy of mine tested it twice already. There is nothing wrong with it as far as we can tell
