93 coupe with LS/Vtec... few questions.
relatively new to hondas... need a little help. i'm running an LS/Vtec on a 93 coupe, few problems i've ran into...
I just got a brand new del-sol distributor because the car was bogging badly using the rigged up SOHC disty that we used to get it running.. Well it fixed the bogging and it has alot more low-end but it feels like somebody is yanking the e-brake at around 4,000 RPMs. I'm almost positive its a timing issue, how should i adjust it?
Next, which ECU is the best to use with this swap?
And last, i'm using a GS-R tranny, I commute at 80MPH and it gets real annoying being around 4,000 RPM. Would an LS tranny (or 5th gear) help, and is it possible to use just the LS 5th gear to lower the RPM's on the highway. i have an LS tranny sitting around with no use for it, how hard would it be to swap the gear. Thank you in advance...
