LS or GSR tranny for LS/VTEC turbo?
I am building an LS/VTEC motor to throw in a hatch and will soon turbo the bitch, I was wondering what tranny I should use. I know people say the LS is better because of longer gearing, but a friend of a friend said with his ls trans it dropped out of Vtec when shifting at redline. This car will just be for drag racing not daily driving. THanks

Depends on how much power you plan to put out. 350+ = LS tranny because traction comes into play.

or if u would just like to hit 130mph in 4th gear the LS tranny will kick ***.. 
but ur car will accelerate slower..
