Default Under the hood temps too high? Running hot!!

The car is running hot from just cruising on the highway for 40 miles. I had to stop twice to let it cool down. The Powe FC was showing 103 centigrade. We have a PWR radiator and a SPAL fan that pulls good. The dumtupe and downpipe are too close to the radiator, so I think this is the problem. I am considering on coating the DP, manifold, turbine housing and dump tube to solve this. Oh and this is on 100 F weather I'm talking about.

Maybe getting a vented hood of sorts, one that does not look too riced up, certainly not one that looks like a pig's nose. Thanks for any help.

Maybe a cooler thermostat would help too.
