I just ran my Del Sol with a 15g greddy kit on 10 psi(tuned by 93turbo16) on the local 1/8 mile track. I have tokico illumina's set to 5 in the rear, with 300lb ground controls in the rear as well. Tires were bfg drag radials(first time using them) and launching around 5-5500 rpm's. My best was as following:

60ft: 2.134 <<<should be able to get much better with practice
330ft: 5. 8114
ET @ 594: 8.28
1/8 ET: 8.833
1/8 mph: 81.4

I believe this is a mid to high 13 second run...about a 13.7, correct? Let me know what you guys think

 

Yes. 13.7 @ 99.5-100mph.

 

my buddies car did 13.1 with a 8.8 but he picked up 28mph on the second 1/8 mph

 

yeh, I may be able to pick up some mph and make a 13.5, but i highly doubt ill pull a 13.1. I'm assuming he had a fairly large turbo compared to my 15g?

 

My stock b16 runs 8.1 in the 1/8th, with 1.95 60' times! But not bad for the first time!

 

with an hf crx im assuming? That still seems really fast. I was under the impression b16 crx's ran 14.1-14.5, but i guess not

 

there's no way a STOCK b16 will run 8.1's....unless it's in a 1400lb chassis

hmm maybe he meant 8.1 + 1.95 = 10.05

8.1??? either this guy is just straight lying, has no idea what a b16 is or his b16 is sitting in the trunk of a turbo h22 hatch

I think he meant 8.1 on a stock b16 w/turbo like the thread starter who did it on a stock motor but a d16 w/turbo.

matt you were running 14s at **** beaver. now you have clutch, suspension and bfg gforce drags and TUNED. you should be deep in the low 13s.

 

beaver sucked...14.8 at 99mph i believe with **** *** 2.5 60's on stock suspension, ziex tires, untuned on 8 psi. From everything ive looked at the 1/8 mile x 1.56 is very accurate for n/a cars, but not always for boosted cars. Im mid 13's now with a 2.1 60. Once i can improve my 60's...ill be very low 13's
