HELP!!! GSR turbo is leaning when VTEC engages....
I've ask EVERYONE out here in Vegas and NOBODY knows anything about this, they jus give me BS answers..... THIS is my problem, I took my car in for a street tune and once VTEC engages my car starts to go lean, i believe in the 14-15, don't know what that means but They tell me it should stay at around 10-11... the dyno thingy... well i have a custom turbo with 7 lb boost, i have (EVERYTHING is brand new) JE 9.2.1 piston, 255 fuel pump, 310 rc injectors, Blox FMU i believe its 10 to 1,missing link, goldeneagle fuel rail, B&M FPR, skunk2 intake manifold,MSD inition, Apexi Vafc... the car ran lean before i had the Vafc, after installation it still ran lean.... sometime when i first start the car and take off to VTEC, it starts cutting out on fuel, it starts bogging out, so i have to shift to a higher gear, once car warms up its okay, BUT still leans out after Vtec... and the car rides funny it'll studder once in awhile like injectors are clogged or something, 3 import shop could not help me out, is there somekind of sensor to tell that VTEC is engaged and to spay out more fuel from my injectors? i don't know i'm lost....

A) you dont use the fmu and the vafc together... pick one
B) 310cc are a little small, go with some dsm 450's
C) Ditch the FMU (did i say this already?)

What are your settings? What size FMU disk? What base fuel pressure are you running?
Most people dont use a VAFC and FMU in combo, but you can.
Best best...larger injectors and chipped ECU

you can't use the VAFC and FMU. choose one.
you can just run the fmu and 255 fuel pump with stock injectors.
or just run the vafc and redo your fuel map with the 310's. if you're choosing to fun the vafc, just richen your fuel map.

Actualy using a FMU combined with an AFC with the proper size disck/injectors can workout very well for low boost. Better then purely AFC, or purely FMU. No I don't support either.
