Replace the distributor base.

Replace the coil and/or ignitor usually.Or visit http://www.distributorking.com and order the TD44U unit. It comes as a 100% complete unti with the base, ignitor, coil, rotor button, and cap all preassembled all for about $250.00 or so.

Honda sells the base, coil, and ignitor separately for over $500.00.

just a thought, before you spend big $$$, take the cap, rotor, and that plastic shield thing off your dizzy (in that order) and wipe the metal stuff off the sensors. It might be built up really bad. (the sensors are magnetic so build-up can happen) I got a code on 1 of the 3 sensors in there, cleaned that sensor and it was fine after that, goodluck
